Directions to Killoran Slate Quarry, Portroe, Nenagh.

1]  Directions from Nenagh:
From Nenagh, take the R494 to Portroe. Turn left at the crossroads in Portroe, just after Gleesons Spar shop. Follow signs (black arrows) to KSQ [ Killoran Slate Quarry ].

2]  Directions from Dublin/Limerick [ South & East ]:
Take M7 to junction 26 - exit and proceed on to N52. At 2nd  roundabout take left and proceed 8 Kms on R494 to Portroe. Then follow No.1 above.

3]  Directions form Galway/ Roscommon/ Offaly [ North ] :
Take N52 to Nenagh. On arrival in Nenagh take right off first roundabout onto Nenagh bypass. At 3rd Roundabout take right onto R494 for Portroe. Then follow No. 1 above.

4]  Directions form Clare:
On arrival in Killaloe town - cross over the bridge into Ballina. Take left towards Portroe at McKeoghs shop. Proceed for about 4 Kms to  "The LOOKOUT".  Take first right and follow signs (black arrows) to KSQ.
