It is specially produced for the Scottish market as an alternative to Ballachulish slate, and is also ideally suited to Ireland’s landscape and severe exposure of the Atlantic climate. Cupa Heavy 3 natural roofing slate is suitable for commercial projects (see Lough Erne Golf Resort, Enniskillen) and residential developments (see Cedar Park, Co. Mayo).
